PREI is one of the largest providers of equity capital to the U.S. real estate industry. Our transaction professionals invest on behalf of a variety of domestic pension funds and other institutions and have investment discretion over the vast majority of those funds.
Our primary property types include: office, multi-family, industrial, retail and hotel. We employ a variety of investment structures: fee simple acquisitions, joint ventures, and mezzanine loans.
PREI also invests in more specialized real estate: including self-storage warehouse, medical office, life sciences office, residential land and senior housing.

From 2005-2009, PREI invested or committed over $33 billion of property level investments in the US in 527 deals. Nearly 75% of these investments were made in partnership with local operators/developers. |
