Gary Kauffman is responsible for the PREI U.S. Transactions Group. During recent years the Transactions Group has established many acquisition programs for PREI, covering a wide variety of product types and structures such as forward commitments, public to private transactions, debt purchases, structured joint ventures and recapitalizations.
From 1985 to 1997, Mr. Kauffman served in the Prudential Real Estate Investors Acquisition and Sales Unit with territorial responsibility for the Northeast and Mid Atlantic Regions. In 1984 Mr. Kauffman was an investment manager in the Philadelphia office of Prudential Realty Group. From 1982 through 1983, Mr. Kauffman served as an investment analyst for the Prudential Realty Group at their home office in Newark, New Jersey.
Mr. Kauffman is active in many industry organizations, including ULI, NAREIM and NAREIT. Mr. Kauffman began his business career as a CPA at Arthur Andersen & Company. Mr. Kauffman received his B.S. and M.B.A. from Lehigh University.
