Mr. Barrett is a Director with Pramerica and Head of European Investments and Chief Investment Officer for the Global Opportunity Funds Group, having joined in May 1999.
Prior to joining Pramerica, Mr. Barrett spent nine years at Arthur Andersen, reaching the level of senior manager in the real estate group. Roughly half his time was spent as a senior manager specialising on property clients including British Land and Canary Wharf; the remainder on transaction based work, principally for the larger London-based private equity houses.
Mr. Barrett currently serves on the Board of Directors and as shareholder representative of several privately held companies. Mr. Barrett received a B.Sc. in Economics with Statistics from Bristol University. He is a Qualified Chartered Accountant and holds the Investment Management Certificate from the U.K. Society of Investment Professionals.
